I'm at Funnel Hacking Live by Russell Brunson in Las Vegas this week, and there's something founders and marketers need to understand about where AI is actually heading.
Most people use AI the same way. You type a prompt. You ask it to help build something. You use it to think through an idea. That's helpful. But notice what's still true. You're still the one doing the work. You open it, you type, you check it, you finish it. AI made things faster. It didn't take the work off your plate.
What Russell Brunson Said About The Real Shift Happening With AI In 2026
The people getting ahead right now aren't the ones who got better at using AI. They're the ones who stopped doing the work themselves and built something that does it for them. That's called an autonomous agent.
An agent is not the same as a prompt. You don't have to open it and ask it something every time. Once it's built, it can run on its own. It can work all day and all night without you sitting there telling it what to do.
The real difference is this. Most people use AI to help themselves work faster. The smarter move is using AI to give your business more hands, without hiring anyone new.
What This Actually Means For Your Business
Think about the role you've needed for a while but never filled. Maybe it's someone to run your social media. Maybe it's someone to handle the sales. Maybe it's an assistant to take things off your plate. You probably haven't filled it because you can't find the right person, or it costs too much right now.
Here's the part that changes in 2026. Those aren't hiring problems anymore. They're system problems. The businesses pulling ahead aren't the ones adding headcount to cover these gaps. They're the ones building AI-powered systems that cover them instead, and then scaling what already works.
This is exactly what I built the Full Stack Growth™ System around. Most marketing teams only handle one piece of the system. Full Stack Growth™ covers the whole revenue cycle, from bringing potential customers in to turning them into repeat customers.
In the past, you’d need six or seven people to cover all of that. At Magnet, we already use AI solutions to run Full Stack Growth™ Systems and bring that cost right down.
But what this conference made me realise is that there’s another step.
That next step is automation. Autonomous agents could eventually run complete revenue cycle systems for businesses, working continuously across everything from attracting customers to turning them into repeat customers.
That’s the direction I see Full Stack Growth™ heading towards: complete revenue systems running at a fraction of the cost, with agents doing more of the work. We’re not there yet, but the possibilities with automation are massive. And that’s what we’re going to start pushing towards.
That’s the difference between using AI and running on AI. AI is already helping us do more with less. The next step is letting the systems actually run more of the work.
If you want to see how the Full Stack Growth™ System works, download the PDF below. It breaks down the six stages of the revenue cycle and how they connect into one system.
Your Move This Week
- Write down the role you keep putting off hiring for.
- Break down what that role actually does, day to day.
- Ask yourself: could an agent do most of that, starting now?
The way businesses use AI is going to look very different over the next few years. So keep up with what’s changing. The earlier you get in, the more you can get from it!
P.S.: I'm posting updates from Funnel Hacking Live every day this week, plus the stuff I'm testing and building behind the scenes at Magnet. If you want to follow along in real time instead of waiting for the next newsletter, here's where to find me:
